Why Adagely
Quote apps got us used to lines on sunset backgrounds, read in three seconds and forgotten by noon. We believe a great thought deserves better: context to understand it, and a chance to put it into practice the same day.

Our commitments on every quote
Famous quotes often circulate without a source, distorted or attributed to the wrong person. Here is what we guarantee:
- Its author and, when it exists, its precise reference: the work, the chapter, letter or verse, the date.
- An attribution status: verified, disputed, apocryphal or source not found, with what is documented and what remains uncertain.
- A “Report an error” button on every quote, to write to us in one tap.
- Reported errors are checked, then corrected.
